Ryen....

(Notice this is book #4-i guess he has a lot of catch up work to do before he will be caught up:)
Ryen asked to take her wallet to school to spend some of her money at the book fair. She said she wanted to buy herself a cool eraser. When she returned home from school her backpack was full. She had bought Paisley and Charli some flip pens that can attach onto backpacks or other things. Then she surprised me with a cook book and Russ with a book she thought he would like. I guess I need to communicate a little better with her. I didn't even know she had that much money in her wallet. I just figured she wanted an eraser that would cost maybe a dollar. She didn't end up buying herself anything. What a sweetheart.

*Lesson learned -know how much money your kids are planning on taking to the book fair! You really can't get mad when they bring you home something they have bought with their own money and are super excited about giving it to you:) We all know how much cook books are:)

It's Official.....

Looks like my sweet innocent baby (well she's three) has started into her pre-teen years already. I told her no yesterday and next thing I know she is peeking her head around the corner with her tongue sticking out at me! I tried so hard not to laugh because of the serious look on her face. Of course I had to pull myself together and talk to her about why that was not very nice:)

gotta love dads

The girls come home from school today carrying roses . They told me that Russ has stopped at each of their classes to deliver them with a hug. To be honest I was really surprised. Ryen had asked me this morning if today was the real Valentines day. I asked her why and she just said,"Dad usually brings me something to school on Valentines." Since the real Valentines day wasn't on a school day she just assumed he wouldn't. I had meant to make note of that this morning to give him a heads up, but I totally spaced it. What a great Dad!

Memory lane...

These were taken 2 years ago. I wished they didn't have to grow up so fast.

Why am I always soooo tired? Well I wonder if it has anything to do with being a Mom. How come I never realized how tired my Mom must have been? Some days I wonder why night time just can't come any faster..........so that I can watch my kids lay peacefully asleep, :) or is it because I can't handle one more little voice saying.....Mom, Mom, Mom!! It's like they really think I am Super Mom. I am really wondering what is a "Super Mom" and why they really think I could possibly possess some of those qualities!

One thing I do know for sure, they have taught me to look at life through their eyes and I LOVE them for that. Their little hearts are so pure, I love it. I guess I look at them and think they are "Super Kids".
