Charli finally got her glasses today. She has been going crazy anticipating their arrival. She put her first pair on and looked at me and said, "Mom I didn't know you had stripes." She thought my hair was only blonde.:)

I love you Char! I am so happy that you can see better.

Weekend in Vegas

I think I might puke!

We had a fun weekend with the kids in Vegas. The kids spent many long hours in The Adventuredome. Thank goodness for Brynli our nanny. She went on all the big kid rides with Ryen. Russ and I snuck out when the kids were in bed and went and saw Momma Mia the play. It was really cute. Not sure that Russ really cared for it, but I enjoyed it. We had a fun time playing, but are happy that we don't have to sleep on those rock hard beds!!

Take me out to the ball game

We finally made it to one of the RoadRunner games. I was surprised to find that it felt nice and cool with the fan misters. The girls really didn't care about the game. They kept their eyes peeled on where the Roadrunners were and it paid off for them. They were asked to come and race with the Roadrunners. They thought its was so great. Charli won a pie and Ryen won 5 bucks. I think next year we will take more advantage of our tickets and actually go to the games!

A whole new world

I took Charli in for her Kindergarten check up and she didn't past the little eye exam they gave her. They referred me to an optometrist and we finally got around to getting her an appointment. It looks as though she has to wear glasses full time. Her eyes are pretty bad and I never even knew. I have never seen her squint, strain, or cover an eye to see. I was shocked! He said her vision is pretty cloudy. (poor kid) With glasses she will be able to see things much clearer. So we picked out her new best friends and let me tell you it was quite a job. She didn't like anything I picked out. I finally gave up and let her get what she wanted. I will post a picture when we get them back. Looks like its going to be a new world for Charli.

Note to self...... get Paisleys eyes checked before she is 5. (who knew)

First day of kindergarten

Well its a good thing Charli is in afternoon kindergarten. She slept in till 10:30 and then wanted chicken nuggets for brunch. She has been waiting to finally get to go to school. She had a good time and likes Mrs. Buzzell from N.Y. She rode the bus home and didn't like it because she said it gets her too sweaty!!

Paisley wanted to go to school too. She was Charli's shadow all day. She thinks she is as big as her sisters. She has been telling people she is going to her Moms preschool. ( Russ told her that) Lucky Me!

I really wish they wouldn't grow up so fast.

Ry shot out of bed the first time Russ woke her up. I think she was a little excited to find out who her teacher was and what second grade is all about. She had a fun day and was excited to see some old friends in her new class. I can't believe how grown up she is getting. :(

750 feet of holy crap!

Russ and I spent the last nine days in Maui. It was so beautiful, fun and relaxing. We had lots of fun snorkeling, zip lining, hiking, eating, laying out and my fav. visiting the spa once or twice:) It seemed like life was on pause and now were back home to the crazy busy life. Here are some of the pictures of things we were able to do and see..... This place definitely beats out Oahu. Thanks Russ for planning us some much needed R&R. Thanks to all those whose watched the kids. We couldn't have went without you!!
